Is there a required minimum order size?
Our minimum orders requires: One yard of the fabrics with a minimum total of US $20.00 before shipping.
Do you accept purchase orders?
Yes! We do accept purchase orders coming from companies and registered business institutions.
Do you sell samples?
Our first 8 fabric samples are free. Afterwards, it will cost US $1.00 for each sample. You can click to "sample request" to proceed with a sample order.
You can also call (212) 354-6711 and ask for the sales department for more information regarding samples. Your samples size is 2"x3". (Limit 18 samples to our customers).
Can I track my sample order?
Depending on the method of shipment you choose, you can track your sample order. If you choose FedEx or UPS, we will provide you a tracking number so you can stay up-to-date in real time with your sample order. USPS may take up to 7 days to get your sample delivered.
Do I need to return samples to Spandex House?
No! Any sample you receive is yours to keep! We have several copies of your sample to match during your order.
How do you send samples?
We usually use USPS to ship samples and it is free up to 8 samples. Afterwards it is $1.00 for each sample. The maximum we offer is 18 samples. If customers need samples on urgent basis, then customers should pay the expedite shipping cost.
It will take 4-5 business days to ship samples by U.S. Mail.
Do you sell color cards?
Yes! We do sell color cards. Milliskin and Mesh (77 colors) card cost is $15.00 each. All other cards cost is $5.00 each.
How can I order from sample card?
Once you receive a samples card from us, please use the sample card number (underneath each sample) and sample card date to place your order in order to avoid any confusion, since our website number is different from your sample card.
I only received one of my products today, where is the rest of my order?
Usually your shipment is sent together and should be delivered together. However, for when you recieve one shipment earlier than the other. you should expect to see your shipment the next day in most cases. If it happens to take longer than expected you can contact (212) 354-6711 for further assistance.
How do you pack the orders for shipment?
The packing of orders depend on how customers want it and the quantity of order. If the fabric is folded, it will be shipped in a box. Rolls of fabric would be wrapped in heavy plastic bags or in cartons.
How may I get the wholesale price?
To get the wholesale price you should order any single item 50 yard or more or order by roll.
What does it mean if a product is on backorder?
If a product is on backorder, the item should become available momentarily. If you need more information about a specific product availability, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. With out-of-stock items that need to be manufactured, please contact Spandex House directly to find more information on the production of the item.
How does product visibility work on the website?
Most items that are shown on the website are ready for purchase. The items that are sold out or out of stock is displayed visibly for customers to buy on a later date when available.
My items are in stock. How long does it take from the time you receive my order and to get shipped?
The time an order is received and to be shipped depends on what shipping options you chose. Ground shipping can take up to 7 business days (depending on you location). Next day, 2nd day, 3rd day shipment can be delivered respectively.
How can I calculate shipping cost?
To get a shipping cost, please go to our product line (www.spandexhouseinc.com):
Select the fabrics you want to buy with yards,
Add to the shopping cart,
Fill out the order form and
Proceed to checkout.
Our carrier will generate the shipping cost for you. Shipping cost deepened on some factors. Those are; weight of the fabrics, dimension of package, destination (our location to your location), and methods of shipment (next day, 2nd day, 3 day or ground delivery).

From where my order will ship and how long will it take to arrive?
Your order ships from the Spandex House retail store (located in New York, NY 10018) and the shipping department updates the orders with tracking numbers so the customers can stay up-to-date in real time with their packages.
When will my order ship?
Please allow us at least 2 business days to process any ground shipment. Any express orders (Next day, 2nd day & 3 day delivery) received after 3 pm E.S.T. will be shipped out the next business day.
If I choose expedited shipping, how long does it take?
We offer overnight, 2nd day & 3rd day expedited shipping options through UPS/Fedex. Overnight/ Next day shipping within the continental US takes around one business day to get delivered. For international customers, it can take up to 4 to 5 days. It may take longer if there is a customs clearance delay.
Why does it take 5-7 days for Standard Ground Shipping?
Standard ground shipping means UPS/FedEx Ground Service and USPS. These generally travel by ground transportation and takes time depending on destination and shipping option chosen.
Do you ship internationally?

Please be advised of customs tax and duties, they will be the customer's responsibilities at the time of shipment clearance.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
Bank transfer and C.O.D. also accepted. For these 2 options, fees applied.

For international orders, customers will pay brokerage fees and duties.
When you will charge my credit card?
When your order is ready to ship then our shipping department will process your payment.
Your prices are much lower than other websites and stores. Are you selling seconds?
No! We aren’t selling seconds. In fact we are one of the largest spandex sellers in the world. We’ve been in the business for so long, that we have come to give our customers the best rates possible.
What is the fabric color?
We write the color name with each product. But fabrics color may vary from monitor to monitor and color setting of that particular monitor. We recommend to our customers that you please ask for fabric swatch before submitting a big order to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your order.
Will my fabric come in one continuous piece?
Yes! Your fabric will come in one continuous piece, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Heat and light are the enemies of all stretch fabrics.
Elastane yarns degrade over time when exposed to heat and light.
Stretch fabrics should be treated with great care to ensure long-lasting comfort and performance.

However, if you receive any fabrics that is not satisfactory for any reason we have return policy as follows :
You have to claim your return within 10 calendar days from the day you receive the order in case of damaged or wrong fabrics.

To be eligible for return, your items must be unused and in the same condition that you received. It must be in original package.
You must inspect the fabrics before you cut. Cut or used fabrics are not eligible for return.
If damaged or wrong fabrics were received due to our mistake, Spandex House, Inc. will replace the fabrics for you.
If the fabrics are not available, refund will be issued to customer. Please allow 4 to 6 business days to view your refund to your credit card account.
Wrong orders placed by customer can be returned (5 yards or more any single product) to us at customer's expense with 20% restocking fee. Sale items are not eligible for any kind of refund or exchange.
